Overview

Wax melt line replicating a few of traditional and iconic dishes from Guam -- from Chamorro cuisine to the mom-and-pop store staples. The idea behind this project is to bring in the idea of scent as a powerful memory trigger. It's to trigger memories for people who grew up in Guam and bring comfort to those who are now thousands of miles away.

Conclusion

During the time I was developing this project, I was missing some food from home, but the nearest Chamorro food is in San Diego + can’t get it shipped straight from home because 1. express delivery is expensive 2. who knows if it will make it here unspoiled since home is so far away!
