Overview

I had the opportunity to work with a group of six to create HEAVEN SPOT, a conceptual three-night EDM festival within the iconic Graffiti Towers of Downtown Los Angeles. I was tasked with conceptualizing ways to foster human connection among the crowd, which resulted in a unique wristband experience that blends connection with self-expression.

I had the opportunity to work with a group of six to create HEAVEN SPOT, a conceptual three-night EDM festival within the iconic Graffiti Towers of Downtown Los Angeles. I was tasked with conceptualizing ways to foster human connection among the crowd, which resulted in a unique wristband experience that blends connection with self-expression.

Each guest receives a bracelet cord as part of their welcome package, complete with a bead that syncs with phones and other wristbands through a simple tap. Before the festival begins, guests can personalize their wristbands with decorative beads and upload their personal theme song. Throughout the event, a tap between wristbands allows for effortless song exchanges. After the festival, tapping the bracelet to your phone unlocks a curated playlist of all the songs from the people you connected with, along with their stories and optional contact information.
